Salvaggi Construction began back in 1976 by John Salvaggi Sr. & John Salvaggi. We were a large commercial concrete construction company. Our work ranged from parking lots, parking garages, building footers, hospitals, waterproofing, to some road construction. While doing the large end commercial work we still were able to keep our hands involved with the residential industry. We did driveways, aprons, sidewalks, and patios. Salvaggi Construction also was involved with several property management firms and was able to keep the solid reputation because of hard work, honesty, and loving what each and everyone did in the company.
John Salvaggi, after the passing of his father, wanted to scale down his company and saw an opportunity in the Colored Decorative Stamped Concrete. John went to seminars, read books, traveled and learned from the professionals in this industry so he can truly become a leader in the newest thing. He still maintained doing regular concrete driveways, aprons, sidewalks, and waterproofing.
In 2006 John Salvaggi hired, Danny Ganim, as a new member to the crew. John took him under his wing, as a son. Taught him the “in’s and out’s” of concrete. At the time of being hired, Danny recently graduated from St. Ignatius High-school in Cleveland, OH. He went on to pursue a degree in Construction Management at Kent State University. In the spring of 2010, John presented the opportunity to purchase and take over the company to Danny, due to his hard work, dedication, and true passion for the industry.
Salvaggi Construction has remained in the residential industry as a leader in Colored Decorative Stamped Concrete, but now has branched back into the commercial side of construction. Salvaggi Construction has blue collared workers that expect nothing but perfection from themselves and for the company. We strive on determination, dedication, and discipline.
